Baby Ph.D. Childcare Network Membership Opportunities

Membership is open to home daycare operators, nannies, and family and friend caregivers.  We have three membership types:  Family Membership, Home Daycare Membership, and Home Daycare Affiliate.

Family Membership

See our Nanny Support page.  Note:  You need not have a nanny to use our nanny support services.  The services are available to friend and family caretakers and even stay at home/ flex-schedule moms & dads.

Home Daycare Membership

Baby Ph.D. Childcare Network members utilize similar curriculum & administrative procedures. However, each location also reflects the unique professional style and priorities of the caregiver(s).  

Membership is open to existing and prospective home daycare providers in the Hyde Park neighborhood and surrounding area.  

Basic membeship requirements for childcare providers include:

- Ability to accept children ages 0-36 months

- Location within the Hyde Park / Kenwood neighborhood

- Willingness to implement comprehensive early childhood curriculum

- Willingness to utilize certain network-wide administrative procedures

- Commitment to professional development (see our local seminar series)

- Willingness to observe home daycare standards set by the National Association for Family Childcare

- Location within the following geographcial boundaries: 43rd Street North, 63rd Street South, Cottage Grove West,   East to the lake.
