5411 S Dorchester Ave.

Text Box: Dorchester Ph.D. is the home of the first Baby Ph.D. Professional Home Daycare.  It opened September 2002.  There are currently three sets of children being served at the Dorchester house: young toddlers (ages 10-18 months), preschoolers (ages 2-3) , and school-age “after-schoolers” (ages 5-9)Teachers at the Dorchester house operate a full-service daycare and also act as on and off-site mentors to newer members of The Baby Ph.D. Network.  The daycare strives to integrate high quality early childhood education with a loving and safe home-like environment.  We utilize a loosely structured daily schedule that is designed to stimulate learning through a combination of structured and free-play, and active participation in activities of day-to-day life.
Special programming at the Dorchester Ph.D. includes Music Together Ô, frequent explorations of world music & culture, Sign Language, and Spanish language.
